Yoga and Herbs for Nursing Moms



Yoga and Ayurveda Herbs supportive of Postpartum Women, and, Nursing Moms

This onsite workshop combines Yoga Therapy, Ayurvedic Herbs and Yoga asanas, pranayama and meditation that will benefit women who are nursing, and, Post partum transition upto 2 years after baby is born.

Can I exercise and do Yoga at this time? What gentle yoga asanas, pranayama practice may be suitable for my body type during this transition of motherhood, or, menopause, or even during PMS and monthly cycle.

This Women Support for taking care of yourself during your monthly cycle, and, womanly transitions like post natal, menopause and post menopause and dealing with stress.

This empowerment workshop will equip you with the tools that include the right plant based nutrition, natural herbs and breathing techniques suited to your body and mind type

Part of the workshop can benefit Doulas, Yoga Teachers, Prenatal yoga teachers, Ayurveda and TCM practitioners for Ayurvedic pre natal, post natal, perimenopausal support.

We will learn about Herbs, Nutrition, Meditation, moving Prana, and, Yoga Breathing for your body and mind type. All participants-even free ones must register.

*Provided homework and coursework provided post workshop is successfully completed. Yoga Alliance Continuing Education seekers need to pay teacher directly, and, any CE transcript generated from them will be from Dr Monica Groover.

COST: $21 Donation Suggested for first two hours for community. (The workshop is 6 hours for enrolled Level 1 Track B Students, and, AWC Counselor)
