Experiential Case Based Learning

San Diego College of Ayurveda believes in experiential, case based learning with internship and/or externships. The student is expected to do a project with case studies, and prepare Ayurvedic lifestyle coaching, and healing plans that may include herb protocols, yoga therapy, and panchakarmiya therapies.

Students can also do an externship or a volunteer position to complete their case study and project. Classroom clinicals are also part of advanced courses.

At the same time, students have the flexibility to do the course in their own pace, and at their own time.

Course Methodology has been designed keeping in mind that the

1. Course must provide comprehensive information
2. Be experiential
3. There are real time case studies as part of the curriculum
4. Focus on research
5. Blended course, where part of the course can be done flexibly via synchronous and asynchronous learning, as well as classroom workshops
6. Course facilitators are from India, and all over U.S.
7. Course curriculum provided by Vaidyas, (Ayurvedic Doctors) in India
8. Course based on Kaya Chikitsa, first year BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine) in Indian Universities.
9. Online only, and 100% distant learning option available with virtual classes over the Internet and Videos.
